Recruitment Software ATS: 10 Answers to Your Questions

Recruitment Software ATS: 10 Answers to Your Questions

What is a recruitment software ATS? Who own the data? Can I import candidate profiles from social networks?

The Online Recruitment Webinar was held on March 8th, organised by In-recruiting along with Indeed: more than 60 recruiters and HR managers met on how to find the best candidates using the most advanced online recruitment technologies. At the end of the webinar we opened for public questions. Unfortunately, time was limited and it was impossible to answer all the questions so, here, we resume that theme and have answered some of the common questions.

1. What is an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)?

ATS is an acronym that means Applicant Tracking System, a recruitment software that specialises in the complete management of the recruiting process: from job posting (Multiposting) to screening and CV organisation, to the selection of the final candidate.
New generation ATSs are web-based (in the cloud), so the company has no obligation to install anything on corporate computers. In addition, the platforms are low cost and proportionate to the needs of the HR team.

2. Who owns the data?

The collected data is and will always be the property of the company that uses out recruitment software In-recruiting. You can export it at any time

3. Is it possible to integrate your recruitment software with the Human Resources management we already have in the company?

In-recruiting is designed to quickly integrate with the existing HR resources (e.g. payroll, training, performance, etc.). Our IT team provides 100% support to customers during integration.

4. How do I integrate it into my corporate website?

The system integrates effortlessly into the corporate website: just copy and paste a simple line of code into the “Work with us” page (career page) on the corporate site and within minutes the software is operational: every time you post an ad it will also appear on the corporate website and the CVs that arrive will be available immediately.

5. Can In-recruiting be customised?

In-recruiting is 100% customisable. It is possible to configure the fields within the system independently, as well as the registration forms and rating sheets.
In addition, our IT team supports customers in the complete personalisation of In-recruiting and integration with third-party systems.

6. Can I customise search fields for my business needs?

There are different search modes with different levels of power and customisation. Simplified Search uses static fields for basic users. Advanced Search allows you to build a range of dynamic fields and boolean operators, ensuring maximum customisation. There is also a full text search (within the entire database, the included CVs, and even in the interview notes) and a semantic search.

7. Can candidates submit their applications from mobile?

The system is mobile friendly and can be used by any device (including smartphones and tablets). Candidates will be eligible to apply wherever they are, including uploading their CVs through Google Drive or Dropbox (mobile recruitment).

8. Can you import candidate profiles from social networks?

In-recruiting has several social recruiting capabilities so as to reach candidates on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or Google+. You can post the job ads that you create in In-recruiting. Additionally, with the new Social Clipper feature, you can easily import social networking candidate profiles directly into your database (Social Recruiting).

9. Is it possible to manage the selection process in teams?

In-recruiting is structured as a collaborative work platform. It is possible to manage the selection process in teams by sharing candidate information with talk notes, assign tasks, and share appointments (the calendar is integrated with Outlook and Google Calendar).

10. How can the applications be monitored?

In-recruiting lets you trace the most important recruiting performance through specific exportable KPIs for further analysis.

For example, you can analyse the performance of your ads by tracking views and CVs, divided by source channel (e.g. job board, company site, social network, etc.).
We hope that these answers can clarify some of the questions that we received. We are open to further questions and clarifications.
