After looking around a couple of cities, the woodcutter finally found a job with an important wood seller. The excellent pay and excellent job conditions convinced the woodcutter to do his best at the job.
On his first day the boss gave the newcomer an axe and pointed the area in the wood where he would have to work. At the end of the day, the mighty woodcutter had crushed the records of all the other employees by chopping down 18 trees. The boss sincerely congratulated him and the woodcutter felt even more motivated.
On his second day the woodcutter worked with all his energy but at sunset he had only chopped down 15 trees. Not feeling demoralised on the third day the woodcutter worked with even more gusto but his result dropped even further, just ten trees. No matter how much energy he put into his work, day after day the number of chopped trees was fewer and fewer.
Mortified, the woodcutter went to his boss to apologise for his poor performance. To which the experienced wood seller put a simple question to his employee, “when was the last time you sharpened your axe?” A bit embarrassed the woodcutter replied, “Sir I didn’t have time to sharpen my axe, I was too busy chopping trees.”

The message is clear, if you are a recruiter, no matter how much energy you put into your job, if you don’t use the right tools, you’ll struggle to complete the tasks you’re supposed to. And if you succeed it will only be at a high cost of investment, both in time and finances, that you could have used for other high value tasks.
For us, recruitment software is just this: a sharp axe, a tool, that any recruiter can use to do more work in less time, with higher quality results and less effort.
If you want to try In-recruiting you can request a free 14-day trial to try your hand at a tool that can improve your daily recruitment work.

We’re always saying that the recruiters we meet are excellent professionals, but too often, by their own admission, they don’t have the tools to deliver the results that they want.

[83

https://www.in-recruiting.com/wp-content/uploads/bearded-man-holding-axe-and-thinking-in-winter-PJXFVBB.jpg
